This Privacy Policy explains how 047 Aurum Sync (“Aurum Sync”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website and services.

We aim to handle personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable South African privacy laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (“POPIA”).

We may collect information that you provide directly when registering for or using Aurum Sync, including:

• Selected broker
• Broker client identifier, such as a Wallet ID, client ID or another identifier required by the applicable broker
• MT5 or other trading account number where provided or required for verification
• Verification and eligibility status
• Account registration and activity timestamps
• Support communications

2. Information We Do Not Intend to Store

Aurum Sync does not intend to store your broker trading password, withdrawal credentials or banking login information in our own website database.

Where trading-account credentials are required to connect an account to Sync infrastructure, those credentials may be handled directly by the applicable third-party technology provider.

3. How We Use Your Information

Personal information may be used to:

• Create and manage your Aurum Sync profile
• Authenticate your account
• Verify eligibility for Sync access
• Confirm your selected broker and applicable Partner relationship
• Approve, reject or suspend access
• Provide support
• Protect the security of the platform
• Maintain verification and audit records
• Communicate important service updates
• Comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations

4. Broker Verification

Where Aurum Sync access depends on a qualifying broker relationship, we may use the broker identifier or trading-account information you provide to confirm whether your profile meets the applicable eligibility requirements.

Verification may initially be performed manually using the relevant broker Partner portal, reporting tools or other broker-provided verification methods.

Aurum Sync may introduce automated verification methods in future where supported by the applicable broker.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

Aurum Sync uses third-party technology providers to operate parts of the service.

These may include:

• Database and authentication providers
• Cloud-hosting providers
• Trade-synchronisation infrastructure providers
• Trading platforms
• Supported brokers
• Email and communication providers

These providers may process information where reasonably necessary to provide their services.

6. Supabase

Aurum Sync currently uses Supabase for authentication and database services.

Information such as your Aurum Sync profile, contact details, selected broker, broker identifier, verification status and related account information may therefore be stored within Aurum Sync's Supabase project.

7. Trade-Synchronisation Infrastructure

Approved clients may be directed to separate third-party trade-synchronisation infrastructure to connect their trading accounts, configure Sync settings and activate Sync.

Information entered directly into that platform may be governed by the privacy and data-handling practices of the applicable third-party provider.

8. Sharing of Personal Information

Aurum Sync does not sell personal information to third parties.

We may share or make information available where reasonably necessary:

• To operate the Aurum Sync service
• To verify broker-account eligibility
• To provide technical infrastructure
• To investigate security incidents or abuse
• To comply with legal or regulatory obligations
• Where you have authorised the disclosure

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

These measures may include authentication controls, restricted administrative access, secure cloud infrastructure and database Row Level Security.

No online system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Account Credentials

You are responsible for keeping your Aurum Sync account password confidential.

You should not share your Aurum Sync password with another person and should notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

11. Retention

Personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including account administration, verification, security, dispute resolution and legal or regulatory requirements.

Information that is no longer required may be deleted, anonymised or otherwise securely disposed of.

12. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request:

• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion of information where legally permitted
• Information about how your personal information is used

Aurum Sync may use cookies, browser storage or similar technologies where necessary for login sessions, authentication, security and basic platform functionality.

We do not intend to use unnecessary tracking technologies merely for advertising purposes.

Aurum Sync is not intended for persons under the age of 18.

We do not knowingly provide Sync access to minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy where necessary to reflect changes to our service, supported brokers, technology, legal obligations or data-processing practices.

The latest version will be published on the Aurum Sync website with an updated revision date.
